• Daily fleet control and fuel consumption of vehicles

• Doing monthly tests to ensure staff are progressing and are up to date as to what they are doing

• Encouraging strong team dynamics thereby resulting in positive department morale and energy within the team

Training of staffto ensure maximum productivity and safety in line with company standards and policies e.g. machinery, safety, first aid, fire

• HR Management related to factory issues
• Handling of Bargaining Council matters

Customer Liaison

• Handling of clients to ensure ongoing professional and positive relations

Management of all warehousing related matters using the SAP system

• Monitoring of budgets e.g. purchasing of gas for forklifts, petrol consumption, costs for transport companies and container hire

Management of stock

• Purchasing and importing of raw tobacco and related materials required for the manufacture of cigarettes
• Weekly stock takes using SAP
• Monitoring of all stock movements using SAP
• All stock data capturing using SAP

• Ensuring that all bonded goods are kept safely in the correct stores and that all paperwork is correct and signed for when goods are issued out of the bonded stores

Staff Management

• Management of 80 members of staff, including Store Manager, Packers,
• Orders, Forklift Drivers, Casuals, Security and Cleaners
• Motivation of staff through training, reward, recognition and maintaining a hands-on approach

Management of all warehousing related matters using the Proteus system

• Responsible for distribution of local cigarettes and cigars as well as sweets, chocolates and liquids to various outlets

Management of stock

• Receiving of stock from British American Tobacco, Cadbury, Beacon, Nestle
• Monitoring of GRV’s and stock storage is done correctly
• Carrying out of quality checks
• Ensuring that all orders have been pulled correctly for dispatch, packed safely
• for transport and labelled correctly
• Ensure that correct quantities are delivered
• Ensuring that deliveries are signed for and POD’s are received
