Duties
Main Purpose of the Job
Establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base and contributes to the development of customers.
Plan, co-ordinate and execute all external sales activities within target customers.
Focus on account management, growth and the profitability thereof.
Meet or exceed agreed targets in the specific segment.
Financial/ Commercial Responsibilities
Responsible for a sales budget for existing customers and developing new customers.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
Account budget responsibility. Sales, volume and SPL.
Maintain and develop allocated customer base.
New business development in market segment. Industry mapping and industry map
development specifically related to segment.
Prepares action plans for effective search and development of sales leads and prospects.
Initiates and coordinates the development of action plans to penetrate the assigned customer base.
Identifies new customer/ products especially pertaining to the value proposition/ integrated solutions.
Ensure to regularly update the logistics department on the stock and stock levels
requirements. Communicate on specific stock requirements.
Provide training to relevant sales, applications, and customer service personnel as
required.
Conduct industry specific presentations at trade shows, etc.
Drive marketing initiatives / activities within responsible area.
Assist in the implementation of segment/ platform marketing plans as required.
Planning and execution of sales activities at customer level and weekly report thereof
Maintain Customer Relations Management database (CRM)
Participate in and co-ordinate customer days.
Report on market requirements and activities, including opposition activities
Liaise with other departments, to resolve any technical, financial or other queries
Maintain excellent customer relations at all times
Maintain professional conduct at all times
Completion of monthly reports. MMR
