• Responsible for 4 Site Managers.
• Ensure overall compliance to the Occupational Health and Safety Act with more emphasis on the latest Construction Regulations. 
• Arrange a semester SHE Management meeting and report on statistics, trends, systems and prevention as well as progress to date on SHE objectives.
• Establishing a workplace safety and health committee and monitoring their performance through the effective utilization of the appointed representatives.
• Plan and hold regular meetings with sub-contractors.
• To develop programs, procedures and training material.
• To provide guidance to the Safety team composed of Department Heads, Site Managers and Safety Representatives.
• To provide guidance to the Management team and participating in Management Review meetings.
• Reporting progress to the MD using leading and lagging indicators.

• Responsible for EHS strategic planning for Edenvale, Johannesburg (head office), Bloemfontein, Durban, Port Elizabeth, Cape Town, Botswana and Zambia
