Duties
Master Production Schedule (MPS)
Prepare at least one MPS every month using wholesale forecast, actual production, finished inventory and taking into account plant capacity.
Review with VAO senior management, VLPM and Sales & Marketing.
Breaking down the MPS into monthly volumes to compile production schedules and to control MRP releases.
Loading SAP (work system) with daily/ weekly/ monthly volume and options per model derivative.
Download production orders to the plant, monitor and measure progress.
Reconcile the order bank with VTS (Vehicle Tracking System) and ensure that it remains balanced.
Check that production orders/ plans match the schedule
