Purpose of the Job The purpose of this role is to manage the Parts department. Key Performance Areas Managing parts stock control (ensuring the right products are ordered and available) and ensuring parts availability of 95% Ordering of all parts required for the Handling business local or international Distribution and allocation of all parts between the Handling branches Negotiating parts
Weekly stock order report and placement of orders
Monitor inventory levels and maintain availability Monitor obsolete stock level Follow up and resolve account queries
Process and follow up supplier claims and queries Qualifications Grade 12 Experience 2 years in a purchasing environment Competencies Attention to detail Sound communication Ability to work under pressure Teamwork Strong administration skills Negotiating skills
