SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Qualifications
BS Computer Science degree or equivalent industry experience
8+ years of C# experience, including concepts such as asynchronous programming
Experience in/with more than one of the following will be advantageous:
C# v4+
mapping technologies (Google Maps/OpenStreetmap)
agile development methodologies
source control systems (git, SVN)
performance/analytics tools for desktop applications and services
continuous integration (TeamCity)
unit testing, test driven development, static code analysis
Good understanding of simplified user-centric design
Ability to deep dive into the technical details, but never be out of touch with business requirements
Creative thinking backed by strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong teamwork, co-ordination and planning, self-driven, and ability to work at pace in a dynamic organisation.
Excellent time management
Work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and develop scalable desktop solutions and Windows services for Worldwide distribution and use
Solid database skills (Functions, Triggers, Views etc.)
Consume and feed SOAP / RESTful/JSON services to client API’s
Good knowledge of AMQP (Rabbit / MSMQ)
Work with UI/UX designers to implement user-friendly solutions
Introduce new technologies into the team based on fit and suitability to deliver a solution
