Reporting to Sales Manager – Leo Dermatology Job Purpose To call on Dermatologists, Pediatricians and GP’s Required Learning Skills / Competencies Required Key Job Outputs Matric Tertiary qualification within sciences preferable Computer literacy: MS Office (proficient in Excel, Word & Power Point) A valid driver’s licence Preferably have solid relationships with target audience full understanding of performance drivers including metrics around market share and EI Very good understanding, knowledge and insight within identified therapeutic area A minimum of 2 years successful pharmaceutical sales experience Previous experience in Dermatology will be an advantage Proven track record in sales will be key Proven track record in meeting input targets Clear understanding of ROI and own territory Ability to reason and be innovative Demonstrated problem solving ability Attention to detail Ability to read, understand and communicate key outputs of clinical trials Ability to analyse and interpret data and put in action a plan to address deficiencies To establish and maintain excellent relationships with key customers & decision makers To consistently achieve Market Share and growth objectives for area Successful implementation of marketing strategies Meet all sales, customer coverage and activity objectives To respond adequately & professionally to customer complaints & queries Diligent reporting as required by line To efficiently manage expenses Consistently achieves financial & innovation targets Core Competencies Sound technical knowledge and insight Customer service orientated & Strong negotiation skills Sound understanding of business principles & processes Ability to work individually as well as in a team setting Problem solving & decision-making skills Commercial awareness and financial acumen Knowledge of industry trends, competitor & market dynamics Ability to plan and work independently
