Purpose of Role: Provide high level customer service related to product sales to effectively and efficiently increase sales margins in line with budget requirements and business objectives with a desire to exceed targets. Ensure quotations and orders are processed in an accurate and timely manner, as well as develop positive solutions to complex challenges. Conduct work activities in a manner which conforms to current policies and procedures of company Key Accountabilities Optimise quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction, as well as maintain and build relationships with customers of Company through enhanced communication and client liaison skills, together with appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods and preparations and submissions of quotations. Record, Analyse, Report and administer according to systems and requirements (CRM). Attend regular client visits, necessary to perform duties and aid business development. Read and understand technical drawings and product data sheets. Handle all aspects relating to Sales, obtaining queries, putting together quotations and converting to orders when orders are received. Expedite quotations, orders, invoicing and payment. Establish and maintain customer relationships and support, contact clients on new products and updates. Support and training on pumps and valves as and when required, must have the ability to solve problems. Provide support with queries and technical information as and when required. Liaise with Consultants, Project Houses and end users. Obtain prices from suppliers for quoting purposes, track and expedite orders through the system. Arrange kick-off meetings with company Staff. Provide high levels of customer service Collect and deliver all documentation, attend Project meetings. Comply with and enforce all Company policies and procedures, as well as carry out your duties in a manner that conforms to current Health and Safety legislation, upholding Company Health and Safety Policy. Carry out all other reasonable tasks that may be delegated from time to time. Assist fellow employees with daily functions as and when required. Key Skills Required : Matric / N3 - N5 National Diploma - Mechanical Engineering / Trade Tested Artisan background (Mechanical, Millwright, Fitter, Fitter and Turner, Diesel Fitter, Marine or Hydraulic Fitter) Experience of 3 years in a similar role Articulate in English with excellent telephone etiquette and people skills Computer literate SAP (advantage) Defined Competencies : Excellent Interpersonal communication skills Proactive Prioritise and Plan Time management Initiative Bilingual (advantage) Ability to work under pressure
