We are seeking a qualified head of Consulting to strengthen Global Consulting @ company and to provide top-notch consulting services to our clients with a focus on enhancing company’ s value proposition, building new digital business models, product development, actuarial consulting, Data Analytics, and non-life consulting. The main objective is the achievement of profitable business development in accordance with the approved Silk Road plan.
In this role you will collaborate closely with clients, underwriters, client managers, the IT department, and with relevant AI and Analytics teams across the globe Your Job:
Identify our clients’ critical issues in order to pitch perfectly tailored solutions featuring a USP.
Consult our primary insurance clients on product concepts, business development and expansion, rating, monitoring, distribution, sales, marketing and process optimisation.
Continuously ensure an attractive consulting and service offering for various client demands.
Study our markets and identify development areas which can be filled with an COMPANY solution, with, or without co-development with our cedants.
Develop measures and processes to improve portfolio management and increase profitability; develop and implement new strategies and business models with our clients.
Leading advanced and complex cross-line consulting projects, including but not limited to, pricing support, demand modelling, new mobility and telematics.
Take over accountability for execution of projects and delivering a superior client experience.
Present COMPANY proposition to the top management of clients and support the respective Client Management teams with the negotiation process.
Actively acquire client projects together with the respective market teams and actively contribute to achievement of our Silk Road ambition, e.g. in the South African, and other growth markets.
Actively contribute to marketing activities (e. g. preparation of technical publications, social media), lectures and presentations at internal and external events.
Contribute to a positive team culture and cooperate closely with actuarial/pricing and mobility team and other stakeholders within GCU.
Actively co-operate with connected stakeholders internal and external to COMPANY to execute on close-to-the money projects.
Your profile:
University degree in mathematics, economics or similar field, with focus on quantitative analysis.
Deep knowledge of primary motor insurance markets, especially the South African and other emerging markets in respect of strategy, processes and products.
Deep knowledge of primary motor insurance markets, especially the South African and other emerging markets in respect of strategy, processes and products.
Additional knowledge in relevant topics like computer sciences, geo informatics and data analytics.
Proven track record in business development, lead generation to deal conclusion.
Very good management knowledge and the ability to use Company management tools, especially value-based management.
High gravitas and instantly credible dealing with senior individuals both within and outside of the company.
Experience and interest in preparing and giving technical presentations (internal and external).
Good negotiating skills and business entrepreneurship.
Ability to lead and motivate a team, ideally with proven management experience.
Ownership and good balance between hunger for business and risk awareness.
Enjoy working with innovative questions in a very dynamic and challenging.
