Job Summary: Provide strategic and day-to-day operations management of the Service Operations and Service Sales function in order to increase the productivity (utilization, absorption and service sales revenue) of the service's function within the organization. Responsibilities: Accountable for the delivery of the Service and deployment strategy across Service locations and the effective collaboration between Service and Sales. Responsible for the overall management of Service Orders, WIP, Margin & Local Services Opex control in line with AOP targets and customer requirements Responsible for ensuring all Service systems and processes maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the function to include absorption control Actively work with the Sales Teams to maximize new opportunities, monitoring proposals and promotions and actively promoting the business externally Responsible for ensuring overall customer satisfaction across the region to include handling high level customer issues or concerns or initiatives Driver of all specific initiatives within the function and responsible for country specific general and industry regulated compliance to include risk assessments Responsible for the overall development and capabilities of the service's team to include consideration of how competencies, knowledge and skills are spread across different locations and to review how the team can best support our customers where there are skills gaps in specific areas Line management and development responsibility for local Field Service Representatives Key contact for all service related credit issues and responsible for addressing credit disputes in a timely manner to best support business results Overall responsibility for the effective management of sub-contractor relationships and deployment. Qualifications and Experience: Relevant tertiary technical qualification Commercial Degree and Technical degree or technical certificate or equivalent trade school or technical college diploma desirable. 8- 10 years’ experience in a similar/relevant service environment Proven track record in people management: performance management and driving employee engagement. Have working knowledge of Service Management and the fundamental concepts of Compressed Air Systems and Services Working knowledge of Compressor Products including equipment & systems, controls, parts, service procedures, service agreements.
