Protective Equipment - Gloves Masks etc : Internal Sales Supervisor From 2012-7 To 2021-07 Duties
- Capture orders (Key Accounts) on Embrace (Put dates as and when customer requires and customer specific requirements e.g. Freight forwarders, deliveries cut-offs)
- Send picking slip report (follow up on picking slips generated)
- Ensure that all orders that came in are attended to the same day they come in
- Place orders for local items as well as foreign stock items with Procurement department
- Handle credit note enquiries and requests
- Send credit note tracking report to all Managers
- Pull Backorder reports to be sent to Internal Sales team
- Release back orders when shipments (Airfreight and Sea freight) come in
- Monitor stock control (weekly conference calls with suppliers UK, DUBAI)
- Handle account queries, delivery queries, inventory, pricing, payment issues
- Handle credit note queries and requests
- Invoice stock on Pastel (Exports Sales) – programme phased out
- Weekly forecast meeting with Supply Chain Manager, Procurement and Supply Chain team from UK
- Send daily Sales reports
- Send prompt responses to customers on any enquiries
- Send weekly Sales reports to Directors, Managers, Supervisors and Reps
- Capture Sample request (report on samples issued to management)
- Attend weekly meetings with Logistics, Warehouse and Ext Sales
- Assist Technical Sales with calibration of gas monitors as well as quotes on gas detection
- Offer alternative product when stock is not available
- Capture forecast orders
- Allocate stock on forecast orders (When stock comes in)
- Build customer relationships and encourage up-selling or branding conversions
- Oversee on 2 ladies performance and smooth running of the department

Detailed Function
- Supervises internal sales activities on selected accounts and negotiates sales price and discounts in consultation with Sales Director.
- Supervises personnel and develops internal sales and sales support staff.
- Reviews progress of internal sales roles.
- Provides quarterly results assessments of internal sales staff’s productivity.
- Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable internal sales results.
- Assists internal sales personnel in establishing personal contact and rapport with all customers at any level
- Interprets short- and long-term effects on internal sales strategies in operating profit.
- Holds regular Formulates all internal sales policies, practices and procedures.
