SHEQ Manager  (SHEQ Manager )

Lead and Manage three International Airports, Six Regional Airports and Corporate Office Compliance including Security, Risk Management, Occupational Health Safety and Operational Governance for the Group. Ensuring that the local Security, Health & Safety compliance in the organization has the necessary skills and training to perform its duties. Responsible for independently drive of security, health and safety and risk management agenda for the group. Responsible for coordinating the security risks and the compliance to investor and regulatory requirements as well as developing, implementing, monitoring organizational compliance plans, sustainability and governance management systems and align these with the risks associated with the business. Ensuring that OHS and security services and systems, including any contracted services, are efficiently and effectively managed on a day-to-day basis. Reduce or eliminate fleet- related crashes, injuries, fatalities, security losses, and property damage. Implementation and management of Security Management System (SMS), ISO 31001, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018.

• Lead the local Security and OHS organization; cascade corporate objectives; and establish personal goals.
• Develop and implement OHS and Security strategy, and policies and procedures to support the strategy.
• Responsible for executing the corporate strategy and objectives while leading the local Security & OHS organization.
• Develop and implement a disaster preparedness strategy, development of policies and procedures to support the strategy.
• Assess security risks and ensure that proportionate measures are in place to protect residents, visitors, staff, buildings, assets and reputation.
• Ensuring that each layer of security is audited and maintained to an appropriate level.
• Responsible for the daily operational delivery and communication of security: Ensure security staff delivers to the best possible standard and efficiency AND ensure that all security staff and all related technical staff.

• Assist the review of emergency response and business continuity plans and ensure that they are current, proportionate, and relevant.
• Ensure that weaknesses and breaches are investigated and reported horizontally and vertically with a view to resolving issues.
Assess emerging business and operational models for potential OHS and Security risk exposure and gaps; discuss risks/vulnerabilities with affiliate management.

Responsible for managing the Company's security management and risk management at a Group level. My role was also responsible for raising awareness internally and conduct training where necessary internally regarding managing the Company's security and risk performance, and EHS management. Responsible to inform business decision-making processes, and maintain situational awareness of the country, including outside and internal risk exposure and road accident trends. Maintain regular contact with affiliate (commercial and manufacturing) management, other collaborators, and functional peers to ensure that Security & Market Safety strategies and service levels align with affiliate strategy and objectives. At the affiliate level, perform/conduct operational security and market/fleet safety risk assessments and reviews; identify and address risks and non- conformities. Respond to and report Security & Market Safety incidents per the Program's requirements. Conduct root cause analyses and security or safety investigations and implement and validate corrective action measures. In assigned markets, supervise the implementation of PMI market and fleet safety strategies and standard methodologies.

Duties and Responsibilities:
§ Manage all security activities, operations and administrative functions.

§ Oversee incident response planning as well as the investigation of security breaches and assist with disciplinary and legal matters associated with such breaches as necessary.
§ Ensure compliance with the standard operating procedures applicable to all persons and/ or sub- Contractors operating within the system.
§ Implement and maintain administrative systems to ensure efficiency in security services
§ Ensure the identification of security risks, and trends across applicable risk types and advise management on how to manage these proactively. § Perform an annual "Zero Based Budget" and contribute to organization budget central revisions. Ensure effective budget management by regularly implementing proper planning, analysis, and spending monitoring. Encourage the team to come up with productivity and cost-cutting ideas.
§ Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of Security and Market Safety-related incident and event reporting requirements. Review and consolidate related metrics to provide focused and detailed reports; intensify trends and critical issues to appropriate levels of management.
§ Perform risk assessments and integrated service survey.
§ Responsible for the day-to-day management of the teams ensuring that Security Standard Operating Procedures are followed, administering the contract to ensure the smooth running of the operation.
Oversee, coordinate and lead security requirements with vendors who safeguard the company's
§ assets, intellectual property and technology as well as the physical safety of employees and visitors.

Duties and Responsibilities:
§ Create and implement strategic direction for all matters relating to Risk, Compliance SHEQ and ESG Management within the Group
§ Create a Risk, Compliance SHEQ and ESG 

Management Operational plan to outline all future and current needs to align with the strategic direction of the Organization
§ Ensures that the Chief Executive Officer is kept informed of all pertinent developments and information within functions managed by the SHEQ and ESG Management Division
§ Provide leadership and direction on Sustainability and SHEQ and ESG Management matters to the staff.
§ Provide leadership in communicating and enabling Coega' s health and safety culture and accountable and responsible for the following (not limited to)

§ Ensure that environmental due diligence is properly supported, reasonable, and in compliance with company policies and procedures
§ Provide inspirational leadership that engages and motivates all levels of staff within the business.
§ Ensuring that any potential financial, legal, reputational and credit impacts, as a result of environmental, social and climate risks, are effectively identified, assessed, mitigated and to maximize the risk portfolio by ensuring that possible business opportunities are identified.
§ Provide subject matter expertise, and conduct research and analysis, to assess environmental and stakeholder risk for financing deals.
§ Facilitating a positive and compliant workforce regarding SSHE Compliance and Facilities Management issues.
§ Conduct environmental, social, and governance (ESG) due diligence, climate risk assessment and climate change impact assessment.
§ Ensure development and continuous value add improvement to operational processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:
§ Conduct SHE Risk and Facilities Compliance Assessment
§ Ensuring implementation of process and procedures to maintain compliance with all applicable local, state and federal regulations and permits under OSHA, TTB, FRA, EPA and state DENR. § Implementing facility's Emergency Action Plan (EAP), Integrated Contingency Plan (ICP), Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasures (SPCC), and Risk Management Plan (RMP)
§ Maintain facility's commitments under the sites Air, Appropriations, NPDES, and Waste permits. Complete multi-media responsibility for task driven commitments.
§ Establishing and maintain relationship with local fire departments and response organizations to facilitate their participation in the Facility Response Plan.
§ Maintain and ensure implementation of Process Safety Management (PSM).
§ Ensuring implementation of Safe Work Practices (SWP), including providing training and making required changes.
§ Implement site security plan.
§ Providing leadership to the site's Safety Committee Chairperson and team Systems
§ Implementing tasks defined in Environmental Health and Safety Routine Duties Calendar, ensuring 100% compliance
§ Maintaining Environmental Health & Safety 

policies and procedures
§ Maintaining Environmental Health and Safety systems inventory
§ Maintaining Chemical Management System, including driving change as necessary and accountability for budget and relationship management
§ Maintain compliance data systems, providing clear, timely access to information for routine reporting.

• Conduct Accident /Incident Investigation and give recommendations
• Develop and maintain exposure baselines for employees’ Statistical analysis of hygiene monitoring data 
• Maintain SHE Management System

• Chair Stakeholder SHE Forum meetings

• Assist senior and line management in setting objectives and targets
• Ensure compliance with all environmental requirements as stipulated by ISO   14001 9001 and 18001
• Undertake training, including presenting certain SHE courses
• Advising on SHE training requirements
• Control SHE performance by carrying out safety walks and investigating serious incidents in order to ensure compliance with requirements
• Appointment as the management representative for SHE
• Provide professional SHE advice and guidance to the Company
