JOB SUMMARY:
A Sales field representative is responsible for driving brand awareness through on-site, face-to-face interaction with
consumers. Field marketers are liaisons between buyers and sellers, as they provide valuable information about
products and services to consumers.
MINIMUM TRAINING, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Current Driver’s license, with Sales/Field Marketer/Merchandiser experience preferably.
Minimum matric or equivalent qualification;
Presentable, with excellent interpersonal skills
Strong verbal and written English communication skills
Technical knowledge of chemical dispensing systems;
Willing to travel extensively
Willing to work overtime, as and when expected by the company
Understanding of retail, wholesale, Distribution store level advantageous

New business development in the Retail market –driving new business and changing over stores to
The company solutions
Spend 4 days of the week visiting a selection of Retail stores as per a pre-arranged route plan
The store visits will entail selling the comapny solution to the store manager or relevant decision
maker
The store visits will also entail basic technical maintenance in the existing company retail network
Spend 1 day of the week in the office providing detailed feedback on the week`s activities
Close new deals at a high rate
Build relationships with existing customers
Cultivate new leads within the sales territory
Travel throughout the territory and visit customers on a recurring basis
Manage multiple accounts simultaneously
Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts
Represent the brand during all customer and prospect interactions
Educate customers on how products or services can benefit them financially and professionally
Monitor the company’s industry competitors, new products, and market conditions.
ORGANISATION STRUCTURE: Reports to the Hospitality Sector Lead.
Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to take initiative;

Ability to work without supervision; Ability to make calculations & do basic measurements
Ability to work with your hands and operate basic tools (Drilling machine, Electric Screwdriver,etc)
