Reports to: Supply Chain Manager
JOB PURPOSE: The prime purpose is to ensure import and export compliance to all other departments in the supply chain to ensure on time delivery of product to the customers to maintain a high level of customer service
Key responsibilities:
Ship confirm/invoicing.
Calculate freight charges.
Create awbs on relevant Freight Forwarder system.
Organize appropriate export documentation in accordance with croners and customers requests
I.e. Certificate of Origin (certification/legalisation), EUR 1, ATR 1, Aviation Security.
Hazardous documentation.
Arrange transport/shipping with freight forwarders/customers.
Container Planning - Coordinates inbound deliveries with the local warehouse
Organize returns collections.
Obtain freight quotes.
Obtain pods
Archiving.
Address Queries.
Make sure aviation security validation is up to date.
Check freight invoices.
Liaise with freight forwarders to resolve problems that may arise.
Administer Credit notes.
General filing.
Post
Escalate any issues on Shipping that effect the business to the Supply Chain Manager.
LCT (Landed Cost Tracking) tracking shipments of imported goods, monitor the progress and estimated arrival times of shipments, and establish a reliable estimate of the overall cost of imported goods. Calculation of a more accurate actual cost at which to receive the goods. (Syspro)

Administer Purchase Orders
Keeps informed with respect to all company policies related to the sale of company's product.
Attend to any other reasonable tasks given to you by your manager / Assist where and when required by Management
