Job Purpose
- To provide an efficient and professional service in the administration for Human Resource activities and all legislation reporting.
key accountabilities
- Inform through training and educate employees, departmental heads, managers and team leaders with regard to general labour relations policies, best practices and legislative requirements to minimize IR risks.
- Manage, mediate, and resolve conflicts, grievances, confrontations, or disagreements in a constructive manner to minimize negative personal impact.
- Advice managers on all labour relations matters, attend disciplinary hearing and prepare all documents (suspension letters, letters of inquiry amongst others).
- Facilitate all hearing outcome and liaise with all relevant stake holders.
- Prepare documents and attend CCMA or MEIBC cases (conciliation, arbitration).
- Manage the recruitment process to ensure the right person/job fit. This includes advertising vacant positions, short listing suitable candidates and where required, conducting structured/standard interviews for recruitment purposes.
- Criminal record reports and qualification checks.
- Prepare offer letters, regret letter and employment contracts.
- Arrange and conduct staff training.
- Compile training year plan and budget in conjunction with Departmental Managers and HR manager.
- Manage training budget.
- Organise training for all employees, liaise with service provides and report on all trainings on a monthly basis.
- Completion and Submission of WSP report and Employment Equity (EE) report.
- Secretary in EE meetings, prepare minutes and other related documents.
- Provides regular, accurate and thorough HR reporting back to the Head of HR and the Head Office (Greece) as required. – (KR KPIs).
- Updates the HR systems with all relevant information.
- Audit of personnel files of all employees.
- Organise employee welfare services such as health and wellbeing programmes and social activities.
- Manage internal clinic and liaise with OCSA with all issues pertaining the clinic operation.
- Adhoc duties as per HRM requirements.
- Full Payroll adherence.
