You’ll be supporting up to 2 Key Individuals and joining a small team of 2 experienced WMA’s who will help you transition into your new role. The company is a well-known and a trusted wealth manager/family office who has been looking after their clients for over 30 years.
• Assist with preparation of paperwork for new client acquisitions as well as annual reviews.
• Assist with the processing of new and additional business applications.
• Drafting and compiling Record of Advice's as required by the Wealth Manager.
• Processing Investec CCM payment requests from clients and advisors.
• Liaising with providers to ensure timely processing times are achieved.
• Assist with the preparation and compiling of meeting packs, including summaries, provider documents and FAIS related documentation.
• Supporting wealth managers with any account statements, summaries or reports when required.
• Engage with clients and prospects as and when required during key stages of the application process.
• Ensure all communication with clients, colleagues and service providers, is in a manner that best represents the brand.
• Ensure compliance records in line with the FAIS Act, FIC Act and South African Exchange controls or each client are updated and correctly stored.
• Check and ensure all new business is compliant after client has signed
• Research – factsheets and product information
• Stay up to date with product updates
• Stay up to date with industry news and legislation
• Compliance updates and processes
• Compliance training where required
• Knowledge of FICA requirements for South African accounts and the Know Your
Client (KYC) process for offshore accounts is advantageous.
• Handle general client queries.
• Ensuring that all communication is logged onto CRM tools the company may use.
• Any other administrative activity deemed necessary by senior members of the
team or management.
