Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Admin Clerk to join our team at an established aviation company in Germiston. The successful candidate will handle day-to-day administrative tasks, manage communication channels, and support operational efficiency across the office. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates well, and is tech-savvy.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner

  • Schedule and manage appointments, meetings, and internal bookings

  • Perform general administrative duties including filing, data entry, and document management

  • Communicate effectively via email, phone, and WhatsApp with clients, suppliers, and internal staff

  • Maintain and update records, databases, and spreadsheets

  • Assist with office logistics and coordination of minor tasks

  • Support management and other departments with ad hoc admin requests

  • Ensure the reception and admin area is tidy, well-organized, and welcoming

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric certificate (Grade 12)

  • Previous experience in an administrative or receptionist role (aviation industry experience is advantageous)

  • Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)

  • Own reliable transport or ability to commute to Germiston
