Job Description: Sales Representative

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth by promoting and selling our products/services. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, strong sales acumen, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
  • Present, promote, and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers.
  • Conduct needs analysis to understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline management, and client interactions in the CRM system.
  • Stay up to date with product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor activity.
  • Provide after-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Requirements

 

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Representative or in a similar sales/customer-facing role.
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and self-driven.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport (if role requires travel).
  • Minimum qualification: Matric/Grade 12 (a relevant diploma/degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business will be an advantage).
