Main objective of the Role:
Technical specialised support on department products
Key Performance Areas:
Product Management (35%):
Existing products config management to latest spec – PBS
Quality req. – NCR’s, ECR, TB, WI, BOM updates - Coordinating of this
Coordinate or assist with testing of FW – ATP’s (Alpha/Beta)
Coordinate or assist with testing of Hardware – ATP’s (Alpha/Beta
Assists with technical training where required
Carrying out ad-hoc audits on area product support & site files
Where requested, assist with technical matters for support and projects
Review, update, create product manuals as required
Assist with product Alpha and Beta trials
Coordinate or assist with customer product trials/POC’s
Product Marketing (55%):
Assist with creation of marketing content – Product brochures, presentations, social media etc.
Assist with customer presentations where required
Assist sales force with product training and/or customer interface meetings where required
Sound understanding of product solutions and roadmap of product evolution by understanding exactly why and how the solution is solving the client problem
Provide insight on market intelligence – Competitor solutions and Customer typical needs per sector.
Assist with product launch activities – Product demonstration, trial , POC, presentation, creating launch advertising content
Administration (10%):
Schedule daily time to answer or create necessary e-mails
Create time for document reviews
Create time for typical HR related weekly’s – Prompt petrol claims, leave expenses etc.
Prompt liaising with customers through emails or phone calls where required
