The Facility Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the company’s facilities. This includes overseeing maintenance, security, space management, and compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. The role ensures that all facilities meet operational, functional, and safety standards to support the company’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day management of all company facilities, including offices, warehouses, and other operational sites.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor maintenance, repairs, and refurbishment projects.
- Manage facility budgets, including cost control, vendor contracts, and procurement of services and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and monitor security measures to protect people, assets, and property.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers.
- Plan and optimize space allocation to meet operational and staff needs.
- Prepare reports on facility performance, maintenance schedules, and incident reports.
- Lead facility-related projects, including renovations, relocations, or expansions.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness and response planning, including fire safety and evacuation procedures.
