We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Senior Sales & Marketing Manager with extensive exposure to the HVAC and Smoke Extraction industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in technical sales, estimating, and client relationship management, with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and lead a team in a competitive environment.

This role requires a commercially focused individual who can drive business growth, prepare dynamic proposals, and build strong relationships across the engineering and construction ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full sales and marketing function for HVAC and smoke extraction solutions.
  • Interpret technical drawings, designs, and schematics to support accurate costing and proposals.
  • Prepare, review, and approve costing sheets, ventilation design proposals, tenders, and project documentation.
  • Drive technical decision-making with clients, consultants, and contractors in a highly competitive market.
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships across:
    • Fire Engineers
    • Consulting Engineers
    • Quantity Surveyors
    • Architects / PQS
    • Project Managers
    • Main Contractors & Roofing Contractors
    • Developers & Property Managers
    • End Users and Local Authorities
  • Compile professional sales tenders, proposals, presentations, and reports.
  • Develop and execute strategic client plans to support business growth.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to sales and technical teams.
  • Ensure effective communication with all clients, stakeholders, and industry professionals.
  • Travel as required for client meetings, presentations, and site visits (AA rates reimbursed).

Key Requirements

  • Extensive experience in the HVAC and Smoke Extraction industry, ideally in a senior estimator, senior sales, or technical management capacity.
  • Strong background in technical sales, proposal development, and cost estimation.
  • Ability to accurately interpret technical drawings, schematics, and design layouts.
  • Proven leadership abilities with experience guiding or managing teams.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong business development mindset with the ability to influence technical decisions.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel when required.
  • High level of professionalism, accuracy, and commercial awareness.
