We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Senior Sales & Marketing Manager with extensive exposure to the HVAC and Smoke Extraction industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in technical sales, estimating, and client relationship management, with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and lead a team in a competitive environment.
This role requires a commercially focused individual who can drive business growth, prepare dynamic proposals, and build strong relationships across the engineering and construction ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full sales and marketing function for HVAC and smoke extraction solutions.
- Interpret technical drawings, designs, and schematics to support accurate costing and proposals.
- Prepare, review, and approve costing sheets, ventilation design proposals, tenders, and project documentation.
- Drive technical decision-making with clients, consultants, and contractors in a highly competitive market.
- Build and maintain strong business relationships across:
- Fire Engineers
- Consulting Engineers
- Quantity Surveyors
- Architects / PQS
- Project Managers
- Main Contractors & Roofing Contractors
- Developers & Property Managers
- End Users and Local Authorities
- Compile professional sales tenders, proposals, presentations, and reports.
- Develop and execute strategic client plans to support business growth.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to sales and technical teams.
- Ensure effective communication with all clients, stakeholders, and industry professionals.
- Travel as required for client meetings, presentations, and site visits (AA rates reimbursed).
