1. Engineering Support Services (50%)
Key Responsibilities
- Draft new electrical drawings.
- Ensure ISO 50001 compliance.
- Track and update electrical drawing changes as required.
- Conduct studies to identify best practices, design improvements and future trends.
- Prepare detailed presentations for review by the Senior Design Engineer.
Key Performance Indicators
- Drawings available and up to date.
- Work schedules and documentation compliant with specifications and standards.
- Core tools developed and managed.
- Studies and trend analyses conducted.
2. Continuous Improvement and Projects (20%)
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate continuous improvement initiatives and cost-saving opportunities.
- Keep abreast of new technologies and developments in the field.
- Drive and oversee project design from inception to implementation.
- Complete projects with minimal risk, within set timelines and budget.

- Cost-saving initiatives presented and implemented.
- Technologies researched and benchmarked.
- Project plans implemented within budget.
3. Compliance (10%)
Key Responsibilities
- Operate within established controls and procedures to ensure integrity and compliance.
- Identify and monitor risks within the department.
- Assist with maintaining a risk register and report discrepancies to management.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and policy frameworks to prevent wasteful expenditure.

4. Cost and Financial Control (10%)
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to budget preparation processes.
- Promote efficient, economical and transparent use of resources.
- Monitor expenditure against budget and report deviations.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs.

5. Customer Service Management (10%)
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
- Represent AutoX in meetings with stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve issues creatively and with integrity.
- Report stakeholder-related matters to Management.
- Maintain relationships in line with policies, procedures, legislation, and stakeholder management systems.
