Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience as a farm mechanic, equipment technician, or heavy-duty machinery mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of tractors, harvesters, planters, sprayers, and general agricultural machinery.
- Experience with engine repairs, hydraulics, electrical systems, and diagnostics.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to operate tractors and farm machinery safely.
- Previous farm experience is an advantage.
Technical Skills
- Ability to conduct fault-finding, mechanical diagnostics, and preventative maintenance.
- Skilled in servicing, lubrication, calibrations, and replacement of worn components.
- Competent in managing spare parts, workshop tools, and service logs.
- Understanding of seasonal machinery requirements for planting, spraying, and harvesting.
Physical & Operational Requirements
- Ability to work long hours during peak seasons (planting/harvest).
- Ability to lift and move heavy parts and tools.
- Willingness to assist with tractor driving and field operations when needed.
- Comfortable working in rural/remote farm environments.
