Permanent - Mechanic / Driver - Democratic Republic of Congo - Democratic Republic of Congo

• Maintain, service, and repair all farm machinery and equipment.
• Conduct diagnostics to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
• Manage spare parts, tools, and service schedules to reduce downtime.
• Support tractor and machinery operations during planting, spraying, and harvest seasons.
• Ensure all machinery is safe, calibrated, and ready for operation.
• Maintain maintenance logs and service records.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience as a farm mechanic, equipment technician, or heavy-duty machinery mechanic.
• Strong knowledge of tractors, harvesters, planters, sprayers, and general agricultural machinery.
• Experience with engine repairs, hydraulics, electrical systems, and diagnostics.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to operate tractors and farm machinery safely.
• Previous farm experience is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Ability to conduct fault-finding, mechanical diagnostics, and preventative maintenance.
• Skilled in servicing, lubrication, calibrations, and replacement of worn components.
• Competent in managing spare parts, workshop tools, and service logs.
• Understanding of seasonal machinery requirements for planting, spraying, and harvesting.

Physical & Operational Requirements

• Ability to work long hours during peak seasons (planting/harvest).
• Ability to lift and move heavy parts and tools.
• Willingness to assist with tractor driving and field operations when needed.
• Comfortable working in rural/remote farm environments.
