Permanent - Graduate Mechanical Engineer - Tshwane (Pretoria) - South Africa

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist senior engineers with the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems and components.
• Perform technical calculations and analyses to ensure safe and efficient mechanical designs.
• Participate in problem-solving sessions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines.
• Attend project meetings and contribute to planning and execution phases.
• Conduct studies, simulations, and other tasks to support the technical operations team.
• Stay informed on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering.
• Follow all health, safety, and company protocols.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by management within the company’s scope.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Qualified Mechanical Engineer (Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the manufacturing, mining or project management industry
• Experience with Solid Works or CAD, FEA’s, tender processes and projects.
• Solid understanding of mechanical design principles
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
• Exposure to maintenance or manufacturing environments is advantageous.
• Strong planning and organizational abilities.
