REPORTING TO THE SALES & FS MANAGER
JOB PURPOSE:
To prepare technical and commercial proposals, supporting the sales team with engineering expertise, and ensuring client requirements are met through accurate designs and cost-effective solutions.
JOB FUNCTION CUSTOMER SATISFACTION:
Respond to all customer technical queries within 24 hours.
Interpret client specifications and provide tailored solutions for mill liners, chute linings, and related equipment.
Assist sales team with any technical queries/presentations and client meetings.
Respond to customer complaints within 24 hours.
DOCUMENTATION:
Develop and prepare detailed technical proposals and quotations for mining and engineering projects.
Log incidents and innovations on Sheqsys as they arise.
Interpret client specifications and provide tailored solutions for product line and related equipment.
STAKEHOLDER LIAISON:
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure feasibility and accuracy of proposals.
Check technical and commercial conditions with relevant managers to minimise the risk to the company.
Complete technical proposal check list upon handover to Commercial Department.
Follow up with sales engineers/clients to ensure that all documentation is received and processed accordingly.
TECHNICAL QUOTATIONS:
Complete technical quotations and sizing within the customer’s requested date.
Ensure the enquired equipment’s are sized accurately.
Advise internal sales and sales on technical limitations when necessary.
Visit sites when required to advise customers and submit quotations.
Include technical conditions in quotations to minimise risk to the company.
