We are a leading supplier specializing in the importation, distribution, and supply of powertrain components, gearboxes, and spare parts for heavy earthmoving, mining, construction, and commercial equipment. Our focus is on delivering specialized technology and high-quality components for off-highway machinery, helping clients maximize performance and minimize downtime.

The External Sales Executive will be responsible for driving business growth through proactive client engagement, relationship management, and sales of powertrain components and spare parts. This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, strategic sales skills, and the ability to build strong, long-term partnerships with clients in the mining, construction, and heavy equipment sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients in the mining, construction, and heavy machinery sectors.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, generating leads and closing sales.
  • Provide technical guidance and advice on powertrain components, gearboxes, and spare parts.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and presentations to clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements in line with company policies and pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (logistics, procurement, and technical support) to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales strategy.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in external sales, preferably within mining, construction, or heavy machinery sectors.
  • Strong technical knowledge of powertrain components, gearboxes, and spare parts for off-highway machinery.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong business development skills with a results-driven approach.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client relationships effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Office Suite, and sales reporting tools.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
