Reporting to: Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities: 

Handle incoming sales inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.

Provide product recommendations and detailed quotations to clients, ensuring their needs are met.

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients through excellent customer service.

Process sales orders, coordinate with logistics, and ensure on-time delivery of products. 

Support the external sales team with leads, client information, and product details. 

Maintain and update all system with customer interactions and sales records. 

Keep up to date with product knowledge, including solar panels, inverters, and batteries. 

Assist with identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the renewable energy sector. 

Acquire new customers through proactive lead generation and sales efforts. 

Assist the Sales Manager and team in implementing sales strategies to meet business objectives. 

Prepare and maintain sales documentation, reports, and presentations.

Coordinate with customers and provide excellent service to address inquiries, process orders, and resolve issues. 

Conduct product research and stay informed about industry trends and renewable energy solutions. 

Support sales team in client meetings and presentations by providing relevant materials and information. 

Collaborate with internal departments such as logistics and marketing to ensure smooth operations.

Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, organizing files, and updating CRM systems.

Qualifications & Skills:

National Senior Certificate (Matric) or equivalent 

Tertiary degree or certification in business or renewable energy is a plus. 

Previous experience in sales in the South African solar industry is preferred 

Previous experience in a sales support, customer service, or administrative is essential 

Knowledge of renewable energy products is beneficial but not required—training will be provided. 

Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail. 

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. 

Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software. 

A proactive and adaptable mindset with a passion for renewable energy.
