Purpose
- To drive increased sales through new business development and building strong customer relations.
General Description:
- The External Sales Representative will be responsible for managing existing customers, acquiring new ones, and fostering strong relationships by providing technical support, addressing complaints, and resolving warranty claims
Key Areas of Responsibility in This Position include Amongst Others:
GP target and budgeted figures
- Pursue and gross profit margins of 27% and PBIT% of 10% against previous year
- Submit market analysis reports weekly, including opposition activity and feedback
Grow market share with current customers
- Grow company market share by 20%
- Increase overall sales 20%
- Expand automotive sales 20%
- Strengthen renewable energy
Reduction of branch warranty claims
- Ensure warranty claims are minimized
- Ensure claims adjudication is concluded within 48 hours of receipt
Reporting
- Maintain weekly reporting 4DX
- Maintain weekly reporting call reports
- Maintain weekly reporting call plans
- Report on customer visits as per the list allocated to you.
Customer Relations
- Optimise relationships between customer and internal stakeholders Maintain visibility on customer credit limits
- Provide product training to customers
- Visit customers per call cycle
- Maintain visibility on debtor's days, ensuring they are less than 45 days by taking ownership of own accounts.
