Position requires a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Representative to join the team. Will service the KZN area.
In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling the company's products and services to key accounts while actively identifying and developing new business opportunities. Your ability to build strong client relationships and drive revenue growth will be essential to your success.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote and sell the organization’s products and services through calls, visits, and presentations within an assigned geographic area, product range, or customer key account list identified by management to achieve sales targets.
Pursue sales leads by visiting existing and new key account customers, assessing their needs, advising on suitable products and services, responding to inquiries, negotiating prices and delivery times, and finalizing sales orders.
Provide support to key maintenance, engineering, and production personnel at the customer’s operational level, offering guidance on screen media adjustments and changes to enhance efficiency and ease of operation.
Identify, research, and engage prospective key account customers to build strong relationships, generate future sales, and encourage repeat business.
Assist the internal sales team by preparing clear and effective quotations as required.
Gather and relay customer feedback and competitor insights to relevant teams within the organization.
Develop annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly sales plans, prioritizing and scheduling activities to ensure sales targets are met.
Stay up to date on product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitor activities, and industry trends through relevant literature and consultations with the Operational Manager.
Represent the company at trade shows and conventions as needed.
Ensure cross-functional collaboration, aligning sales and marketing strategies to drive overall business success.
Assist in the preparation of tenders and contracts and manage initial design for plant and equipment within approved procedures.
Execute all functions in accordance with the applicable delegation of authority.
Investigate customer complaints and recommend appropriate product or service adjustments.
Adhere to all Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations and company safety policies to maintain a safe work environment.
Report hazards, incidents, and injuries in compliance with legal and company reporting procedures.
Ensure the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
