We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially minded Buyer with experience in packaging procurement (preferred) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure materials, with a focus on packaging (where applicable), in line with business requirements
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings and value
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new suppliers
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely replenishment
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures
- Work closely with production, logistics, and finance teams to align purchasing strategies
- Stay informed on market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supply risks
