Purpose of Position:
Will work directly with clients, helping them understand and select the best products to meet their operational needs.
Responsibilities:
- New Business Development: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through field visits to industrial and manufacturing clients.
- Client Engagement: Present and promote our manufactured products, tailoring solutions based on customer needs and specifications.
- Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demos and provide technical consultations to engineers, buyers, and plant managers.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
- Sales Reporting: Track sales activity and performance using Excel. Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, charts, trend analysis).
- Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends and competitor activity, using data to adjust strategies and improve sales forecasts.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (engineering, logistics, production) to ensure smooth customer interactions and fulfilment of needs.
- Trade Shows & Events: Represent the company at industry trade shows, networking events, and client meetings.
- Negotiation: Negotiate all contracts with prospective clients.
- Determine Pricing: Help determining pricing schedules for quotes and promotions.
- Communicate: Make phone calls or send emails to contact prospective customers.
