LIMITS OF AUTHORITY:

• May instruct or direct other employees in respect to store procedures only

• We are seeking a skilled Technical Storeman to join our engineering team.

• The Technical Storeman will be responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, tools, and equipment within an engineering environment.

• As the Technical Storeman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all necessary items are available for engineers and technicians to complete their tasks efficiently and effectively.

• Responsibilities and Duties:

• Receiving goods from suppliers

• Issuing goods to salesman for sale and workshop for manufacture

• Check stock levels and ensure stock received is checked shelved and binned correctly

   

   

• Ensure all bins labeled and goods binned correctly

• Assist yearly stock take

• Issuing and checking of tools and equipment and monthly register

• Ensuring completion and updating of all warehouse store control computer spreadsheets and stock sheets

• Ensuring all warehouse/store procedures are adhered to by all employees

• Identify non conforming product and report to relevant buyer GRV to supplier

• Ensure good housekeeping standards by keeping work stations stores clean and tidy at all times

   

   

• Ensuring adherence to OHS policies  procedures and legal requirements within area of responsibility including but not limited to PPE equipment

• Ensure familiarity and adherence to Company Policies and Procedure

   

   

• Perform any other activities as and when directed by senior

• Good numeracy and literacy skills

• Preferable stores and hydraulics industry experience

• Strong organizing abilities

• Minimum Grade 12 qualification
