Permanent - Senior IT Analyst - Ekurhuleni (East Rand) - South Africa

Reporting to the Finance Manager

Responsibilities/Duties:

To act as a senior IT reference in the South African unit, performing a multifunctional and strategic-operational role, being responsible for supporting the local infrastructure, maintaining and evolving business systems, focusing on SAP Business One, as well as developing automation (RPA) and Business Intelligence (Qlik Sense) solutions. 

The professional must strictly follow the practices, standards, and procedures defined by the parent company, maintaining technical subordination to the IT management in Brazil, ensuring alignment with corporate guidelines, especially regarding information security and digital governance.

• Governance, Security and Compliance:

• Ensure the local application of best practices in information security and digital security defined by the Group. Ensure compliance with corporate policies related to access, identity, passwords, devices, data and operational continuity. Act as a local focal point for security issues, supporting incident prevention and proper risk management. Support audits, internal controls and IT compliance initiatives, according to parent company guidelines. Maintain continuous alignment with the technical management of the Brazilian team, reporting status, risks and deviations.

• Infrastructure and Support (Hands-on):

• Directly provide support for microcomputers, local networks, workstations, printers, and other technological resources. Support the administration of the local environment, ensuring stability, availability, and security. Act in a preventive, corrective, and guidance manner with users.

• Business Systems and Processes:

• Act as a Business Analyst, conducting requirements gathering, analysis, and translation. Support the implementation, stabilization, maintenance, and evolution of SAP Business One, respecting corporate processes and templates. Conduct tests, homologations, training, and functional and technical documentation. Promote continuous improvement and standardization of processes. 

• Automation and Business Intelligence:

• Design, develop, and maintain RPA solutions, aiming for operational efficiency and reduction of operational risks. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Qlik Sense, ensuring reliability, security, and adherence to corporate needs. Support managers and users in the interpretation of indicators and data.

Cloud, SaaS, and Partner Management:

Support the operation and evolution of Cloud and SaaS solutions, in accordance with the technical and security guidelines of the parent company. Act as an interface with IT suppliers and partners, ensuring technical alignment, security, and quality of deliverables. Coordinate local IT demands in conjunction with the business and technical management in Brazil.

ESSENTIAL:  Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or related fields

Experience in multinational industrial companies or subsidiaries with lean IT structures.

Experience in environments with IT corporate governance and information security. 

Experience in matrix operations (technical reporting to headquarters). 

Knowledge of integrations between SAP Business One, cloud solutions, and satellite systems

English First Language.

Portuguese Second Language – a plus

Knowledge of SAP Business One – extensive. 

Knowledge in BI (Power BI or Qlik Sense). 

Thorough Understanding of accounting principles and business industry.

Technical Requirements:

Solid experience in generalist IT, working in infrastructure, systems and business support.

Proven experience with SAP Business One.

Advanced knowledge in Business Intelligence, preferably Qlik Sense.

Practical experience with RPA (Automation Edge, UiPath, Power Automate, Blue Prism or similar).

Knowledge of Windows environments, networks, access control and security are the best practices.

Desirable knowledge in Cloud and SaaS solutions (e.g., IaaS, PaaS, SaaS concepts, identity, access, integrations).

Ability to create technical and functional documentation.
