Description of key performance areas:
Maximise efficiency of Production operations:
- Monitoring and control of reaction process, especially exotherm acrylic reactions/ styrenation reactions.
- Monitoring and control of utility systems for safe operations and optimal energy use.
- Ensures compliance to Standard Operating Procedures and compliance and completion of batch sheets.
- Ensures any product non-conformity is reported, immediately and assists in the root cause analysis.
- Conducts proper shift handovers at each shift change.
- Ensure completion of all BPR’s
Environmental Health and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with all OHS regulations.
- Working knowledge of process safety management.
- Implements and maintains LSS and 5s principles.
- Manage and minimise waste levels. Ensure segregation of waste. Ensure effluent generation minimised and minimal contamination with solvent.
