- We are seeking an experienced Workshop Foreman to join our agricultural team
- The Workshop Foreman will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the workshop ensuring that all equipment and machinery are maintained and repaired in a timely and efficient manner
- The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and proven leadership skills to lead a team of technicians in the agricultural industry
- Supervising and coordinating activities of workshop technicians to ensure efficient workflow
- Inspecting diagnosing and repairing agricultural machinery and equipment
- Developing maintenance schedules and ensuring all equipment is properly maintained
- Ordering supplies and parts needed for repairs and maintenance
- Training and mentoring technicians on the latest industry standards and safety procedures
- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Keeping accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills
- Proven leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of agricultural equipment and machinery
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and a strong focus on quality workmanship
- Proficiency in computer software for record keeping and scheduling
