Permanent - Procurement Controller - Johannesburg - South Africa

Reporting to: Project Finance (M Reid)

Role Summary: Manage and control the end-to-end procurement process, supplier performance, expediting, compliance, reporting and cash flow optimisation while removing the administrative burden from technical and project teams.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Procurement programme control and expediting
  • Supplier relationship management
  • Cash flow and commercial management
  • Procurement governance and compliance
  • BBBEE and local supplier development
  • Fraud prevention and risk management
  • Procurement reporting and dashboards
  • Inventory and material control support
  • Project close-out support

Requirements & Skills:

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management or similar
  Technical industry exposure advantageous
• Experience: Minimum 5 years procurement experience
  Experience in project, engineering, construction or technical procurement
• SAP and supplier management experience
