- Develop, implement, and manage preventative and predictive maintenance programmes for all machinery, equipment, and facilities
- Execute maintenance schedules and ensure all maintenance activities are accurately recorded through job cards and maintenance records
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, automation, PLC, servo, and robotic system faults to minimise downtime
- Perform electro mechanical maintenance, repairs, installations, upgrades, and commissioning of plant equipment and machinery
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and ensure repairs are completed efficiently to maintain production continuity
- Train and support operators and employees on machine operation, settings, safety requirements, and best practices to maintain quality and productivity
- Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, Environmental, and Company standards relating to machinery, equipment, and the workplace
- Participate in maintenance projects, equipment upgrades, process improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Assist with the planning, coordination, and allocation of maintenance resources and labor
- Maintain good industrial relations and enforce discipline in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping within workshops, maintenance stores, production areas, and associated facilities
- Maintain and repair company buildings, infrastructure, and services as required
- Control, maintain, and keep accurate records of tools, equipment, spare parts, and assets allocated to the Engineering Department
- Ensure that employees are adequately trained and competent to operate machinery and equipment safely
- Assist other departments with maintenance and technical support requirements when necessary
- Be available for standby duties, overtime, weekend work, and after hours call outs to ensure uninterrupted operations
- Perform any other reasonable duties delegated by Management

- Qualified Trade Tested Millwright Red Seal
- N3 or N4 Engineering Studies advantageous
- 3 to 5 years post trade experience in a manufacturing or automated production environment
- Proven experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, FANUC)
- Strong knowledge of servo drive systems, servo motors, and motion control applications
- Experience with industrial robotics, including programming, fault finding, and maintenance of robotic systems
- Ability to diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment
- Sound understanding of automation systems, sensors, HMI interfaces, and industrial communication networks
- Experience with preventative and predictive maintenance programs
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and automation drawings
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
- Computer literacy and proficiency in maintenance management systems
- Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and standby duties when required
