Job Description	The Role This is a rare and genuinely exciting opportunity for a commercially minded professional to step into a senior advisory capacity within a high-performing corporate finance team. As a JSE Sponsor, you will serve as the primary interface between listed clients and the JSE, guiding them through complex regulatory and transactional requirements with precision and confidence. Day-to-day, the role spans: Advising clients on JSE Listings Requirements and their continuing obligations as listed entities Fulfilling the full duties of a designated JSE Sponsor Drafting and reviewing circulars, SENS announcements, legal agreements, and term sheets Project managing corporate actions including rights offers, capital raisings, secondary placements, M&A transactions, schemes of arrangement, B-BBEE transactions, delisting, and section 112 disposals Reviewing financial statements and transactional documentation Advising clients on CTSE Listing Requirements and the Takeover Regulations To apply immediately for this position click here.
Inherent Requirements	Requirements The following are essential: Proven experience in a JSE Sponsor or designated advisory role (2+ years minimum) Strong working knowledge of the JSE Listings Requirements Relevant tertiary qualification Sound understanding of the Companies Act The following are advantageous: JSE Approved Executive status Experience with the Takeover Regulations Familiarity with CTSE Listing Particulars Commercial law background Competencies Ability to work independently and take ownership of transactions end-to-end Strong project management capability across complex, multi-stakeholder deals Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including high-quality drafting Sharp attention to detail Comfortable operating under pressure and managing multiple priorities simultaneously Confidence to engage directly with CEOs, Finance Directors, and regulators Commercially minded, proactive, and solutions-focused Resilient and energised by a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
