This role is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence, maintaining production quality, and supporting our commitment to safety, environmental, health, and quality standards (QSHE). As a CNC Setter Operator, you will work onsite using advanced CNC lathes, milling machines, and multi-axis machine centres to meet and exceed daily production targets.
- Maintain punctuality and comply rigorously with company time and attendance policies.
- Demonstrate strong self-discipline by adhering consistently to all company rules, regulations, and QSHE standards.
- Utilize the correct personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times to ensure personal and workplace safety.
- Operate CNC machinery including lathes, milling machines, and multi-axis centres in accordance with company manufacturing specifications.
- Set and machine the first off pieces for new jobs, conducting precise clocking and reading of clock gauges to assure accuracy and quality.
- Monitor production quality continuously; stop processes and raise red flags immediately if quality specifications are not met.
- Adhere strictly to the production schedule to ensure smooth plant operations and meet output requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine efficiencies and process effectiveness.
- Follow 5S workplace organization principles to maintain a clean, efficient, and safe work environment.
