To plan and carry out internal sales activities within his/her define sales are

• To create sales order on computer system

• To liaise with customers when there is a possible stock shortage

• To liaise with representative on price and material supplied to customers

• To request faxed or emailed orders from customers

• To ensure, when creating an order, correct account, item, quantity and pricing are used

• To ensure that the correct procedure is followed for customers whose account is on hold

• To inform respective sales representative of customers on hold due to no payment

• To liaise and communicate with warehouse and production

• To ensure customer care and customer service

• To ensure customer queries are dealt with, without delay

• To handle tele sales and do market research

• To ensure that customers are offered other products when ordering or any other requirement that might be needed

• To ensure that no manufactured items are created without an official written order

• To ensure that proof of payment on COD customer are received before order for manufactured items are created

•  No items to be delivered without payment!

• To ensure that internal sales equipment is maintained in a proper manner

• To ensure that the internal sales area is kept neat and tidy at all times

• To ensure that safety standards are kept in accordance with company policy

• To ensure that no unauthorized person/s enter the internal sales office without authorization

• To ensure that proper housekeeping is managed at all times

• Provide weekly feedback relating to lost sales and back orders

• To ensure that filing is done on a daily basis and that PODs are filed appropriately

Matric or other office sales qualification
