Job Description
- The incumbent plays a pivotal role in giving proper input to design, development, implementation, support and management of Business Intelligence Systems. To maintain the NMISA network, infrastructure, architecture, administration and support of Microsoft servers and services.
- He/she must have a passion for precision and excellence, who has an excellent understanding of Information and Communication Systems and a willingness to learn.
- The successful incumbent will be responsible for Microsoft-related issues as well as supporting and maintaining all computer-based systems, users, networks, servers, and printers where necessary. Provide day-to-day support for the internal user base.

Job Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma in Information Technology (NQF Level 7 or above) or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in organizational day-to-day Server Administration with experience in computer and network troubleshooting.
- Extensive experience in an IT and support-related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good understanding of security architecture, frameworks, and tools, ensuring the robustness and integrity of the organisation's IT systems, data, and networks.
- Experience in managing vendor relationships and ensuring that IT services and solutions meet the organisation's needs and standards.
- Hands-on experience in the following:
- System Administration of Virtual Server Environments (Windows and Linux)
- VMware
- Active Directory
- Group Policy
- DHCP
- DNS
- File Services
- Veeam Backup & Replication
- Configuring and managing Fortinet FortiGate Firewalls, including VPNs, firewall policies, and network security
- Experience in administering Microsoft 365, Outlook, OneDrive, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Intune, Dynamics 365, SharePoint On-Premises and Online, Microsoft Teams, and Cloud-Based Hosting.
- Knowledge of disaster recovery, backup and recovery systems, with implementation experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Certificate Services (AD CS), PKI (Public Key Infrastructure), Certificate Templates, CRLs (Certificate Revocation Lists), and OCSP.
- Experience developing and supporting automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate (Power Flow).
- Experience troubleshooting and supporting computer hardware, software systems, programs, and computing networks.
- Understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP and VLANs.
- Be proficient in setting up systems to detect and prevent computer viruses and unauthorised network intrusion (cybersecurity).
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Microsoft Certified Windows Server, Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Fortinet NSE/FCP, Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate or equivalent is essential.
- ITIL Foundation, COBIT Foundation, Network+, A+ and Security+ certification or equivalent is advantageous.
- Competent in MS Office.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong numerical ability/skills.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 08h00 – 16h30.
- Lunch Break: 13h00 – 13h30.
