- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety Manager to lead and manage all health, safety, environmental, and compliance activities across our operations.
- The successful candidate will ensure compliance with legislative requirements, company standards, client specifications, and industry best practices while promoting a strong safety culture throughout the organisation.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Monitor site compliance and implement corrective actions where required.
- Lead incident investigations and ensure effective root cause analysis.
- Compile and submit safety reports to management and clients.
- Monitor legal appointments and statutory requirements.
- Manage emergency preparedness plans and drills.
- Coach and mentor Safety Officers and Safety Representatives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to health and safety performance.

- Computer literate (MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook).
- National Diploma or Degree in Safety Management, Environmental Management, or related field.
- SAMTRAC / Nebosh International or equivalent recognised safety qualification.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a Safety Management role.
- HIRA, Legal liability, Incident investigation certification.
- Strong knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Mine Health and Safety Act (where applicable).
- Experience conducting incident investigations and audits.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow up independently.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
