Permanent - Stock Controller - Ekurhuleni (East Rand) - South Africa

The position requires a reliable and detail-oriented Stock Controller to join a growing aluminium manufacturing and installation company.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect and record incoming stock.

Issue materials to the factory. 

Maintain accurate stock levels and inventory records.

Perform regular stock counts and reconciliations.

Monitor minimum stock levels and notify purchasing when reordering is required.

Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized and secure. 

Investigate stock discrepancies and implement corrective actions. 

Work closely with purchasing, production and management.

Minimum Requirements:

2-5 years' experience in stock control or warehouse management. 

Experience with inventory management systems. 

Experience with stock takes and cycle counts

Understanding of FIFO/stock rotation

Proficient in Microsoft Excel. 

Strong numerical and administrative skills.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and under pressure. 

Valid driver's licence (advantageous)

Experience in the following will be an advantage:

Aluminium profiles and hardware. 

Glass and glazing materials.

Manufacturing or construction environment
