A well‑established logistics and shipping business operating from City Deep, Johannesburg, the organisation manages high‑volume customer accounts within a fast‑paced, structured environment. 

The candidate will be reporting to the AR Manager and be responsible for maintaining a professional, accurate and proactive credit control function that supports the company’s financial stability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full debtors book, ensuring accurate posting and allocation of payments
• Proactive collections to minimise overdue accounts and strengthen cash flow
• Monitor customer accounts for non‑payment, delayed payment, and credit limit breaches
• Investigate and resolve customer queries in collaboration with operations
• Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts and escalate defaulting customers when required
• Reviewing and processing new customer credit applications
• Opening accounts and managing credit terms
