  • Audit Queries as and when requested within the scope of the management agreement
  • Landlord queries as and when requested within the scope of the management agreement
  • Coding of expenses for Norwood Urban Village monthly
  • Supplier age analysis the creditors control account monthly
  • Council schedules monthly
  • Attendance to landlord meeting on request
  • Attendance to weekly finance meeting presenting work minuting and actioning
  • Executions of all unallocated expenses on the bank recon  weekly and monthly
  • Bank recons- reconciliation of bank recons that have differences weekly and monthly 
  • Management Function  overseeing creditors team
  • Overseeing creditors clerks daily, weekly and monthly work
  • Signing of all statutory /council / KPI schedules for the clerks
  • Deliverables ensuring that all deadlines in the department is met on due date
  • Sign off monthly supplier recons
  • Ensuring that the supplier recon marries the supplier age analysis on MDA
  • Escalate non-attendance on deliverables to management
  •  Responsible to manage a creditors clerk

  • 3 -5 years experience and MDA (Property management package)
  • Audit queries – must be able to reconcile GL to TB
  • Proficiency in bookkeeping principles and practices specific to property management, including understanding financial transactions, balance sheets, income statements, and reconciliation processes
  • Ability to work with property management accounting software such as Yardi, Buildium, or AppFolio, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
  • Attention to Detail: Strong eye for detail to accurately record and maintain financial records, reconcile accounts, and identify discrepancies in financial statements
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple properties financial data efficiently, maintain records systematically, and meet deadlines consistently
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with property managers, landlords, tenants, and vendors to address financial inquiries, resolve issues, and generate financial reports
  • Understanding of relevant property management laws, regulations, and compliance requirements to ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to industry standards
  • Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making processes in property management operations
  • Aptitude for resolving financial discrepancies, addressing billing errors, and identifying opportunities for process improvement to optimize financial operations
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively, meet strict deadlines, and maintain accuracy in financial record-keeping under pressure
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive financial information and client records in compliance with privacy policies and ethical standards.
