- Audit infrastructure resilience: Conduct routine vulnerability assessments and implement strict security patches.
3. Operations & Performance Optimization
- Monitor system health: Oversee performance using enterprise observability tools like SolarWinds, Zabbix, or Datadog.
- Lead incident resolution: Troubleshoot critical Tier-3 network outages and complex performance degradations.
- Automate routine tasks: Write infrastructure-as-code scripts using Ansible, Terraform, or Python to minimize manual errors.
- Disaster recovery planning: Design, test, and maintain disaster recovery and failover policies to safeguard business continuity.
4. Leadership & Documentation
- Mentor engineering staff: Guide junior and mid-level network engineers through technical code reviews and design sessions.

Essential Experience & Education
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent technical field.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years in a dedicated enterprise network engineering role.
- Protocol Expertise: Deep technical mastery of TCP/IP, DNS, VLAN trunking, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), and MPLS.
- Cloud Proficiency: Proven experience configuring hybrid environments and software-defined networks (SDN).
Highly Valued Certifications
- Cisco: CCNP Enterprise or CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure.
- Firewalls: Fortinet NSE 4 / FCP or Palo Alto PCNSE.
