- We are seeking a Junior Quality Controller to join our team in the mining equipment industry.
- The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a passion for ensuring the highest standards of quality are met.
- As a Junior Quality Controller, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and maintaining quality control standards for our products.
- Conduct quality inspections on incoming materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet specifications and standards.
- Identify and report any non-conformities or defects in products and work with the production team to address and resolve issues
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and guidelines to improve overall quality and efficiency
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions
- Maintain accurate records of quality control data and produce reports for management review
- Monitor and evaluate quality metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Duties:
- Perform visual inspections, measurements, and tests on products to verify conformance to specifications
- Document and communicate quality issues to appropriate stakeholders
- Participate in quality control meetings and discussions to address quality concerns
- Assist with training and mentoring of new quality control team members
- Follow all safety and quality control protocols and procedures
- Keep up-to-date with industry standards and best practices in quality control
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in using measurement tools and equipment
- Knowledge of quality control principles and practices
- Familiarity with mining equipment or heavy machinery industry is a plus
