- Daily operations of the workshop, ensuring high-quality vehicle repairs and maintenance, managing staff, and maintaining efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction. The role requires a fully qualified mechanic with strong leadership and organizational skills
- Supervise and coordinate all workshop activities and staff
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on vehicles when required
- Ensure all work is completed to high quality and safety standards
- Allocate jobs to mechanics and monitor progress
- Maintain workshop productivity and efficiency
- Manage parts, tools, and inventory
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle customer queries, provide quotes, and explain repairs
- Maintain accurate service records and job cards
- Train, mentor, and evaluate workshop staff
- Manage workflow to meet deadlines and minimize downtime
