Permanent - Field Service Technician - Cape Town - South Africa

Reporting to the Service Coordinator/Technical adviser

Duties (not limited to):

Field Service Technician plans, prepares and completes repairs on the company's mobile and crawler cranes both locally and internationally. Working safely and in accordance with the company's standards to ensure service excellence and that the company’s name and brand is held in high esteem.

Responsibilities:

Job planning and preparation

Assist with afterhours support in line with the standby roster

Booking out and blue slipping of spare parts

Managing of the assigned assistant

Time keeping and feedback reports

Correct care and handling of equipment supplied

Education & Experience:

Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic or Electrician/Auto Electrician/Millwright with 3-4 years of field service experience and/or 3-4 years of experience in hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical and mechanical in a workshop environment.

Preferably with a minimum of 3-5 years of Field Service, Auto Electrical Millwright experience on LWE- Mobile Cranes
