Permanent - Shift Supervisor - Ekurhuleni (East Rand) - South Africa

Task Description:

• Operate plant in accordance with OMS requirements.
• Investigate and correct deviations from standard operating conditions and ensure non-conformances are
• communicated to the production manager and the OC laboratory,
• Manage Raw Material off loading, FP tanker movement and drumming schedules_
• Complete process control records and report as per QMS requirements.
• Supervision of Personnel
• Ensure operates are working in accordance with procedures.
• Report any industrial relations issues to the production manager
• Identify training needs of sub-ordinates and report them to the production manager.
• Train new operators on procedures.

Skills/Abilities and Competencies:

• Good communication skills in English (verbal & written).
• Computer iterate
• Must be able to match documents and operate a forklift
• Basic computer literacy.
• Fork lift driver's license/Operating a forklift
• Must be able to interpret information and take action.
• Must be able to read & write in English.
• Knowledge of chemicals

Minimum Educational Requirements:

Grade 12 and a Chemical or Chemistry Qualification (Non- Negotiable)

Desired Qualification:

Chemical Manufacturing Diploma or Equivalent

Minimum Work Experience Required:

3 Years of Chemical Processing and Manufacturing
